Michael Kors MKT5081 Review

Similar to its predecessors, Michael Kors MKT5081 has made a huge leap forward in AMOLED technology, which has all kinds of advantages for a smartwatch. This means that you no longer need a ‘flat tire’ section at the bottom of the display, while the lack of backlight makes it more energy efficient when you just want to take a quick look at the time.

Specs:

GPS/Health fitness tracking: Available

Strap material: Metal

Display: AMOLED

Phone connection: NFC/Wifi/bluetooth

Benefits:

  • This durable real-watch style isn’t just a mask either-with an IP67 number, you don’t need to worry too much about water or lint exposure.
  • When it comes to controls, there’s a rotating crown button that acts as a home button and a Google Assistant prompt-just press and holds.
  • It also serves as a pleasingly responsive scroll wheel that isn’t too far from the Apple Watch 3 counterpart.
  • The watch is Ideal if you want to minimize fingerprints on the touchscreen, and it’s just nice to use.

Downsides:

  • No heart rate sensor
  • Considerably expensive

Verdict:

With the most fashionable Wear OS watch concept yet, a fantastic screen and rock-solid performance, Michael Kors MKT5081 is a big contender. Just a lack of secondary functions and a higher-than-average price would hold it off.
