As you may already know, HP has two gaming laptop lineups down the line, which consists of the higher-end HP omen laptops and a more modest Pavillion laptops.
We will be looking at their more affordable model, the HP Pavillion power 15. The shape of this model is more or less in line with the previous pavilion.
Its entire surface is made out of black and silver plastic with neon green accents. The overall designs become more modern with a much more solid hinge design to raise the entire laptop.

The specs on the HP Pavilion power are on par with the average entry-level gaming laptop.
HP Pavilion Power 15-ec0000na Laptop Specifications
- Processor: AMD Integrated SoC
- Memory: 256 GB SSD
- Storage: 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB)
- Screen:15.6-inch full HD display.
Benefits
- This model features Nvidia drivers, so booting up and transferring files is unsurprisingly fast.
- Heat management is excellent, not too far behind the more expensive Omen 15.
- You can also expect 7 to 8 hours of battery life on very casual usage, which is not bad at all.
- One more thing I like is the compact power bank size adapter. Upgradability is excellent, with two Ram slots available.
Downsides
- The keyboard layout is standard with a font similar to its HP omen brother featuring only single-stage backlighting.
- The trackpad here is quite long, but it’s not very accurate. I think you should keep your mouse plug-in since the trackpad is not accurate. Hopefully, it can be fixed by something as simple as software updates.
- The sound core of the laptop is fundamental, and the bass is nearly missing.
Verdict
The HP Pavilion Power 15-ec0000na is an excellent laptop for gaming and productivity. Extraordinary battery life, right keyboard, and the sub poll non-gaming looking design but speaking about the rest, everything looks modest.
