Though we adored the 13-inch Surface Laptop when it previously transported two years ago, a great deal has changed for thin and light premium laptops since then. Now the line simply doesn’t stand out the way it once did, even the new 15-inch model. At first, it isn’t clear who the 15-inch Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 is for: Compared to the remainder of its many competitors, it’s not especially light, or fast or highlight pressed. It’s not economical or loaded with bleeding-edge tech and it doesn’t have especially long battery life. But it’s reasonably versatile, adequately fast, looks pleasantly smooth, is incompletely upgradeable, and even backward-compatible with past force supplies sold by Microsoft.

Verdict
The 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 has probably the best battery life we’ve experienced in a 15-inch laptop, which ought to be praised. But, this laptop falls well short on both the power and versatility that most would anticipate from a 15-inch device, making it a disillusioning follow-up for any individual who was seeking after more.
