Ferguson F5020F Review

The Ferguson F5020F is the bigger brother of the Ferguson F4320F, boasting 7 more inches of screen real estate. With virtually all of the same features as its smaller brother, it is up to the user which size they prefer between the two. It has the same 1080p resolution and the same plethora of ports, with a built in DVD player and a dedicated Freeview input.

Specifications:

Resolution: 1920 x 1080

Input: x2 HDMI, RCA component with audio, RCA composite with audio, VGA, RF input, Digital Audio,

Output: 3.5 mm headphone jack

Benefits:

Just like its smaller brother, the F5020F’s best feature is its many inputs, as it has 2 HDMI ports, along with an integrated DVD player and Freeview channel, and VGA and RF. If you have a lot of different ways that you like to enjoy your content, then this is a great buy. With a 1080p screen, you are getting a screen that is suitable for most content viewing and because it is LED, you can put it anywhere on the house. This model is a great and convenient television that will be versatile in whatever situation you want to use it.

Downsides:

Because it has the same resolution as the F4320F but a bigger screen, the pixels per inch are going to be lens dense on this model, resulting in a slightly less sharp image than the smaller model. It also has one less HDMI port in comparison, but it is essentially the same model just bigger.

Verdict:

The television is great for anyone who wants a slightly larger television for casual viewing, while having a good selection of ports and inputs. This model is convenient and a great way to avoid switching cables between a variety of different boxes or consoles.
