Benefits

– The large 27 inch display gives you plenty of viewing area and is great for entertainment such as movie watching or gaming
– It includes a large 1 TB SATA drive which should cover your storage needs quite well
– Not every desktop is built for gaming but since this model has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 which includes 4 GB of dedicated memory it is designed to be able to handle the intense graphics from modern games
– 4 of the 6 USB ports are USB 3.0 which has much faster transfer speeds and increase the performance on your external devices that support this technology

Downsides

– It started with laptops but now even desktops such as this model are moving to remove the optical drive
– More than 8 GB of internal memory would have been nice as this is a potential performance bottleneck if doing high end tasks such as gaming
