Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7
Memory: 16 GB of RAM
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Screen: 14 Inch Dual Screen
OS: Windows 10
Benefits:

  • The more compact 14 inch display along with the secondary screen located above the keyboard keeps this laptop light and mobile while still giving you plenty of screen space between the two displays
  • It comes with a powerful Intel Core i7 processor and plenty of memory at 16 GB so performance should not be a problem
  • The SSD drive just adds to the performance along with delivery a decent amount of storage space at 512 GB
  • The NVIDIA MX250 graphics card has 2 GB of dedicated memory which isn’t overly impressive but is still capable of handling most light gaming needs

Downsides:

  • New features always drive the price up and that is no different on this model. It is on the expensive side and out of reach for those on a strict budget
  • By adding the secondary screen it does push the keyboard down and eliminates the palm rest, will this be uncomfortable for some users?  Maybe and maybe not but something to consider before purchasing
  • No optical drive is included in this laptop model

Verdict:
The dual screen functionality on the Asus ZenBook Duo UX481FL-BM044T will excite those who are always looking for the next big feature. If this takes off we can expect to see the competition start including this on their own models.
