Benefits:
- Have plenty of memory is important in any high end laptop and Asus has you well covered in this category with 16 GB. Also, if this is still not enough for you it has the capacity to handle up to 32 GB
- It comes with a Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics card which has 6 GB of dedicated memory. This is enough to easily handle the modern games that are on the market
- Storage is decent with 512 GB available but the best part is that it is an SSD drive which has faster read and write times to help overall performance
- For those that need to do some number crunching from time to time it also comes with a built in keyboard
Downsides:
- With the other high end components in this laptop it is surprising they didn’t go all out with the process as well. Instead of a more powerful Intel Core i7 you will only find an Intel Core i5
- This laptop is quite big and bulky for a 15.6 inch model as it tips the scales at 2.4 KG
- We still see some gaming laptops including an optical drive though it is becoming more rare. This laptop has went the direction of many others and removed this feature so if you still use physical media you will need to purchase an external device
Verdict:
This laptop has some impressive features with the only small drawback the lower end processor. That doesn’t mean it can’t handle your gaming needs but something to consider when comparing it to other models.
