Dell Inspiron 14 3482 J5MHN Review

As it is one of the least expensive laptops on the market, the Dell Inspiron 14 3482 is unlikely to provide any awe-inspiring features. Notwithstanding, it does well with minimal computing requirements and performs decently as a business or student PC.

There might not be a computer feature that is as underrated as a backlit keyboard. With this Inspiron, you can easily use your keyboard in dim light thanks to its LED-Backlight.

With a weight of only 1.79kg, it is a very portable pc that will not be a burden to carry along with you through the day. Its sleek design also makes it a perfect mobile accessory.

A 42Wh, 3-cell battery gives this PC enough juice to get you through the day. You need not fret about power as you move between meetings or lectures.

With just an Intel Pentium as its processor and only 4GB RAM, you cannot expect much from it. It tends to be a bit slow even when you are doing basic things like browsing the web.

Since it is designed to be lightweight, it does not come with an optical drive but this will not matter to most users since music and movies are mainly streamed or downloaded these days.

Of course, no one expects the display to be excellent at this price bracket but it would have been nice to see some effort go into screen performance since processor power is lacking here.

Good only for users who do not intend to perform any tasks that are not low level. Definitely a budget buy but a worthy contender with other members of its price category.
